September Membership meeting featuring Professor David MacFayden of the Slavic Department of UCLA was devoted to his work, sponsored by the LASPSCC, on the digitized preservation of Anna Akhmatova’s works. Everyone in attendance learned a great deal and was impressed by the potential for this powerful tool for preservation and future scholarship.
